For Australian doctors
FUE training for Australian doctors — live patients in India
Australia has the demand. It does not have affordable supervised live-patient FUE training. IIOHR reviews you here, then you travel to Gurgaon for staged extraction and implantation under faculty oversight.
Hands-on participation is confirmed through admissions. It depends on eligibility, cohort capacity, patient consent, and local regulation at the Gurgaon site. Training does not replace AHPRA obligations.
The honest location
You practise in Australia. You train on live patients in Gurgaon.
IIOHR does not run a live-patient FUE course in Australia. The India Clinical Education Academy exists because that is where supervised cases can be taught at a viable cost. Tuition can be paid in AUD, inclusive of GST, under an Australian contract.
Who this page is for
AHPRA-registered doctors who need real cases
- GPs and other physicians adding hair restoration who cannot find live-patient FUE training in Australia
- Doctors comparing a governed India immersion with a four-day overseas fellowship
- Practitioners who want staged extraction and implantation, not observation-only workshops
- Clinic principals sending a doctor for supervised development before building a service at home
The route
Apply in Australia. Operate in India. Return with evidence.
Admissions happens before flights. Scope is not assumed from a web form.
01
Admissions from Australia
AHPRA registration, prior exposure, and intended scope are reviewed before any travel is recommended.
02
Pathway and tier match
Foundation through advanced immersion at the Gurgaon site — duration and likely hands-on scope confirmed in review.
03
Travel to India
You fly to Gurgaon for the live-patient block. Tuition may be paid in AUD in Australia; flights, visa, and stay are separate.
04
Supervised FUE
Extraction, implantation, donor stewardship, and theatre workflow under faculty oversight at Evolved Hair Restoration India.
05
Return with evidence
Mentorship and audit can continue after you are home. Training does not change your AHPRA category or advertising rights.
Why doctors still travel
Australia demand versus India delivery
The comparison Australian doctors actually make — local options, short overseas courses, or a staged live-patient block.
Where the patients are
Traditional
Almost no affordable live-patient FUE training inside Australia.
IIOHR
Supervised cases at the Gurgaon partner site with Evolved Hair Restoration India.
Format
Traditional
Weekend observation or a four-day fellowship far from your patients at home.
IIOHR
Published tiers from three days to a 30-day immersion, staged by readiness.
What you pay in
Traditional
USD or other foreign-currency packages with unclear tax treatment.
IIOHR
AUD fees payable in Australia, GST-inclusive, published on the India academy page.
After you return
Traditional
A certificate of attendance and little structured review.
IIOHR
Optional mentorship and surgical audit. Still your AHPRA scope — not a new title.
Regulation
What this training is — and is not — in Australia
Within scope
- Structured professional development and supervised live-patient FUE exposure in India
- Faculty review, competency checkpoints, and optional audit after you return
- Evidence you can keep in your own professional record
Outside scope
- An AHPRA endorsement, specialist registration, or new advertising right
- A licence to describe yourself as a hair-transplant surgeon solely because you attended
- A guarantee of hands-on extraction or implantation on every cohort day
You remain responsible for registration, insurance, and advertising under Australian law. Confirm scope with your own adviser if needed.
Destination
Gurgaon is the campus. Australia is the market.
Live-patient training is delivered with Evolved Hair Restoration India in Gurgaon. Mumbai is planned as the next site.
Published Foundation to Advanced Immersion tiers, durations, and AUD/USD figures sit on the India Clinical Education Academy page. Flights, visa, accommodation, and living costs are not in the fee.
International doctors use the same campus. This page exists so Australian searchers are not sent to a vague “global centres” story.
FAQ
Questions Australian doctors ask first
- Do you train doctors in Australia? — No. Live-patient FUE is delivered in Gurgaon, India. Australian doctors apply from home and travel for the operative phase. IIOHR is an Australian-contracted institute; the operating room is not in Australia.
- Why India instead of an Australian course? — Supervised live cases at Australian theatre cost are rarely viable. Gurgaon is where IIOHR can stage extraction and implantation under faculty oversight with enough patient flow to teach the craft.
- Can I offer FUE in Australia after this? — You remain responsible for AHPRA registration, scope of practice, and advertising rules. IIOHR training is competency evidence. It is not a specialist title, endorsement, or new registration category.
- What does tuition include? — Published Gurgaon tiers cover tuition, faculty supervision, supervised clinical access, materials, and certification on completion. Fees are listed in AUD inclusive of GST. Flights, visa, accommodation, insurance, and living costs are not included.
- Who is eligible? — Licensed physicians. Typical applicants are AHPRA-registered doctors who cannot obtain live-patient FUE training locally. Exact hands-on scope depends on eligibility, cohort capacity, patient consent, and Indian site regulation.
